Main effect and deficiency symptoms
Effect: Increased protein and oil content, improved nitrogen utilization
Deficiency symptoms: Impaired nitrogen uptake, yellowish-green leaves, reduced protein and oil content
Important: In thiosulfate form, it scorches less and volatilizes less than sulfur-dioxide-based products. Without sulfur there is no efficient nitrogen uptake.
